[TriLUG] Noise.

I have RedHat 6.2 for Sparc installed on a Sparc 10. I do believe RHL
supports SPARC. Just not as much as the Intel.

Hello

Mandrake is your problem. Get something stable like Debian.

I only say that because RedHat doesn't support Sparc and Mandrake is a port
of redhat.

I just installed Mandrake 7.1b on a Sparc Ultra 10, and everything went
pretty well, though I can't seem to get the network up and running.
ifconfig -a doesn't report eth0, only l0, and when I try `service
network restart' I get an error about ippp0, and eth0 delays. Perhaps I
don't have the correct driver installed to get it up and going. Anyone
have any idea what driver/other solution I can use to get this going on
my Sparc Ultra 10?

Thanks,
Jeff
