heh. what a macaroon.

Mandrake piggy backed itself onto Red Hat. Red Hat quit supporting Sparc.
So, what's Mandrake to do about Sparc? You think they port the code?
I doubt it. They most likely get it from Suse (if Suse supports it) or
they get it from Debian. For what its worth, Sun has pumbed money into
Debian. The Debian
server is a dual Ultra 60.

Mandrake's relationship towards Red Hat is kinda like ppc linux where
Montavista does the real work and rtlinux wraps the mvista code in nicer
rpms.

Call me a bigot. You are funny.

Let me see, you are the pasty white guy who whines about eating veggies
cooked on a grill which had previously cooked meat. Like your opinion
matters.

Heh that's funny. Good troll.

Actually, I would say people who have reactions like this are
the problem. If you don't understand something, as you *obviously*
don't with mandrake, don't criticize it.

While mandrake did start out as Redhat + KDE, it has long since
gone its own way. Also, if you had bothered to investigate,
you'd see that Redhat 6,2 and Mandrake 7.1 *do* support sparc.
They may not be the latest versions of Redhat and Mandrake,
but they are available.

Frankly, with attitudes like you've just displayed, it's no
wonder Debian has an image problem.

P.S. Anyone who thinks this message is official policy of
the Trilug Steering Committee is WRONG. I'm speaking STRICTLY
as myself and not as anyone else.
