[TriLUG] Sound recording/editing/archiving - where to start?

Normally it's "The fastest you can get". I do know of a studio using a Mac
Quadro<sp?> Pro, but I'm not a big Mac person. I can use them but I don't
keep up with the hardware that much.

Hmmm. I may be able to get my hands on a Mac, but the speed would worry
me about that. Do you have any idea about recommended min processor
speed/memory and such?
