[TriLUG] More things about Imap software preferences

Check out the RedHat RPM, the old 6.2 one had hooks that allowed you to run
Procmail as a local filter/delivery agent. Plus I've read about folks who
run the cyrus delivery agent out of procmail.

Subject: [TriLUG] More things about Imap software preferences

So, as I was going to bed last night, I thought of one
other specification in relation to the imap server.
We really need all the mail spools, including any
folders people might make, to live on whatever large
disk we get. That gives a point in Cyrus's favor and
one against UW. :-/ I haven't thought much about how
to accomplish that with Courier. So, anyone have
any ideas about that?

One thing that goes against Cyrus is that, afaik,
there's no way to hook procmail into it. I'd very
much like a system where the users could setup
something like procmail (or, ideally, procmail itself)
to do mail filtering.

Thoughts? More suggestions?

Thanks,
Tanner
