I guess that ou all know that Microsoft pulled from their website the 
freely available TrueType fonts that look so nice in any OS.

Well, some guy has posteds them back in the website, at 
http://corefonts.sourceforge.net/ . He makes them available under the 
terms explained in the original Microsoft license.

So go there, install those nice fonts, be license-compliant and go on 
with nice desktops.
