[TriLUG] RH 7.2 xdm restarting

[Rodent of Unusual Size]

Every now and then I find that my xdm session restarts for
no apparent reason, usually while I'm away.  The only clew I've
seen is these lines in the syslog:

Sep 17 07:59:51 Krypton gnome-name-server[22140]: input condition is: 0x11, exiting
Sep 17 07:59:54 Krypton xdm(pam_unix)[6621]: session closed for user coar

Anyone have any idea what this may be?
