I've been looking at getting an iPAQ vs. Zaurus I checked into getting an
iPAQ setup with linux. You can purchase (not free sorry) the Qtopia desktop
and tools from trolltech (www.trolltech.com). This would definitely give you
some apps that you can use.

Subject: Re: [TriLUG] Linux on the iPAQ
One concern I have about trying Linux on Ipaq is the
state and usefulness of the available applications? A
quick Google search yielded screenshots of Xeyes, Xcalc,
and Xterm not quite fitting on the small display. Cool,
but not particularly useful.
Would anyone care to share their opinion on available
applications - particularly the PDA "basics" such as
calendar, email, tasks, contact list, etc? Are they
usable on the undersized display?
