[TriLUG] gcc switch hitting

Alright.
Even though I have the rpm installed I've been beating my head against
this anyway, as I like knowing things.
turns out that the configure script didn't notice that I didn't have the
gdbm stuff installed, and that was what was causing the compile to fail.
installed the gdbm stuff and then Tanner's suggestion worked like a
champ.
Thanks again to all your help
Any word on how to start xscreensaver properly at login time?
