Sorry,
Didn't notice you were asking about DHCP. I believe the default DHCP
client for RH is dhcpdc. You could use that to release and renew your
IP lease from the DHCP server.
Also the "equivalent" of ipconfig in Linux is /sbin/ifconfig. However
you can do more with ifconfig.
