We've got a 3com 3c905 (PCI) NIC running on a RedHat 7.2 box and while
scanning our entire campus subnets (just an Nmap Ping sweep to begin
with) and we keep getting these errors:
sendto in send_ip_raw: sendto(4, packet, 28, 0, 152.2.9.105, 16) => No
buffer space available
Sleeping 15 seconds then retrying
sendto in send_ip_raw: sendto(4, packet, 28, 0, 152.2.9.105, 16) => No
buffer space available
Sleeping 60 seconds then retrying
Can anyone explain this, and is there a way to avoid these errors? I
imagine it's something with the kernel.
Thanks so much!
Jeff
