[TriLUG] Linksys WPC11 (wireless PC Card)

Jeremy,
Kinda neat we're both chiming in on discussions on the TriLug and CF
lists...
Anyway, I'll try it with the AP when I get home. I assumed the card would
start without the AP being close by.
When I add the Linksys card info toe the /etc/pcmcia/config file, what does
that do?
And why doesn't the card show up on the GUI drop-down list? Where does RH8
get those Ethernet card names in the drop-down? I've seen a reference in the
RH docs about adding to the "hardware list", where is this "list"?
I guess right now I'm baffled at how hard this has been...
Thanks again

Robert,
I'm not sure what to say exactly at this point. However, it does look like
there is *some* wireless driver loaded; I'm not sure if it's the
right one. Is it supposed to be connecting to an access point (ie, is
there an access point turned on and within range) ?
