[TriLUG] more kernel woes

I'll re-do everything tomorrow night (I've deleted the newly built
kernel file and changed the lilo.conf back to the original). Anyway,
I"ll try all the steps again tomorrow to see where I end up and I'll
put the entire lilo.conf file up for review. In fact, I'll start the
process right after tomorrow's work-out so I can get it on-line nice
and early.
