Working better. I have shutdown the processes you and Chris recommended, 
minus Kclipboard, but I haven't recompiled the SRPMS.   It is running 
smoother.

Laptop
P-II/233MHz
96MB RAM
2GB HDD

Everything is working, just a little slow.  I'm thinking of removing KDE 
and installing Fluxbox
