I would suggest trying a lot of different things before updating
your system's glibc.  What's to say that if you update your
glibc, mozilla will work, but nothing else will.  Glibc is the
base system library that *everything* uses.  Be very wary about
updating it.

Instead, I would suggest downloading the mozilla source rpms and
executing the command:

rpmbuild --rebuild mozilla...src.rpm

That will probably take a while, but when it's done, you'll have
a version of mozilla compiled on your system, *that links to
your version of glibc*.  That's a much better idea than
updating your version of glibc and possibly wrecking your
entire system.
