Roughly the same results as the slowest hard drive.  The secondary
controller may not support ATA 66/100 as many older mobo's from two years
ago would make the primary controller high speed and skimp on the
secondary since you typically put a CD drive on it.  In this case, I
didn't have a cable that could reach both drives on controller one.  So we
have hda hdc mirrored and a CD drive on hdd mounted in a 1U server.


/dev/md0:
 Timing buffer-cache reads:   128 MB in  1.36 seconds = 94.16 MB/sec
 Timing buffered disk reads:  64 MB in  2.30 seconds = 27.84 MB/sec
