Power management has always worked best when disabled :-)

Truth be said, I've had no problems w/ rh8; however, I've had problems
both with ACPI and that built-in Lucent Winmodem under Winblows.

I have yet to see a BSOD under Linux, though.

Rh8 installed without any problem whatsoever.  No special config.
Everything worked right from the get go.
