[TriLUG] Linux embedded Living Room@

I've had a Linux embedded device in my living room for a while now.  
It's a Zapmedia Zapstation.

I like it. I really like that it is running Linux but it is a very 
closed system: I can't ssh into it, I can't configure it other than how 
it comes out of the box, etc.  I still like having the thing around, 
but I can't help but wish I had more control over the darn thing.
