Yep, we're planning to do exactly that.  Although sometimes it's handy
to have a mic that can pick up the audience noise (ie laughter, etc.). 
Depends on how noisy the audience is.

Yep.

But don't let all this talk of video taping discourage people from
coming!  There will be plenty of room, and videos are still no
substitute for the original.
