[TriLUG] RHL 8.0 setup on laptop with NO CD and PCMCIA NIC

I have a PCMCIA CD-ROM and tried it last night. Didn't work either.

on a related note, my old laptop had no cdrom but i used an external USB
cdrom
to install the OS and it worked just fine.
