So I finally got grip/lame working well, but now XMMS keeps crashing!
I'm not finding any error logs either, though I could be looking in the
wrong place. I've completely removed all the RPMS (RedHat 7.3) and
installed from source and still get the same problem. I can load XMMS
fine, but as soon as I hit the play button, it freezes. Is there a way
I can at least get a file so that I can debug it, or has anyone else
seen this? I've also cleared /tmp and all the .DCOP and .ICE files from
my home directory in the hopes that maybe Xwindows was screwing
something up. On another note, I can run mpg123 just fine and play my
*.mp3s, but XMMS keeps crashing! I've started from the shell and from
the Gnome menu. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jeff
