[TriLUG] OT: need IP-Sec recommendation

Hey all, it's so good to be back in the USA!! That said I've found
myself in the position of having to recommend a firewall/VPN box to a
small customer within the next week or so. The network uses, or will
be using, a fractional T-1 running at 256k for the Internet connection
(router has yet to be determined). The office has 25 computers (total)
and five remote users who want to VPN into the office once everything
is migrated from Novel 3.x to Win2k (and desktops upgraded to XP -
don't worry, I've got at least two GNU/Linux boxes in the mix as well).

Anyway, I'm used to thinking about VPNs on a grand scale with grand
scale budgets. This is not the case here. Budgets are small and
tight hence I've tossed the big guns (Lucent Brick, as well as the
other enterprise VPN boxes) out the window. The VPN products from
Symantec and WatchGuard look promising but has anyone ever used either
one? Are they reliable?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for a small office Firewall/VPN
device that supports XP clients?

Greg
