[TriLUG] sendmail header question

hostname = bertha (which I thought I had fixed some time ago to show as the
FQDN by editing /etc/sysconfig/network so hostname = bertha.mydomain.com ...
but as I just checked that file, it says hostname = bertha ... which I find odd
b/c I specifically remember changing that value. Would any of the up2date
updates have reverted that somehow?

I have changed it to hostname = bertha.mydomain.com and I still get hostname =
bertha after restarting the network service.

thanks,
David M.
