Thanks for the help with the mail programs ... since it's my first time
setting this up, here's a few more 'first timer' questions: 

Are the default pop/imap servers that come in the RedHat installation the
University of Washington programs? (listed in /etc/xinetd.d?)

If so, what are the differences between the varients?  imap imaps ipop2
ipop3 pop3s
