[TriLUG] Help needed: How to backup clean linux image from HD onto CDs

I have clean linux (redHat 9.0) installation and configured. I need to 
create
backup image of the hard disk on CDs.

Could some one help me with a HOWTO description  to backup HD on to CDs and
restore it back on the HD
