[TriLUG] Red Hat vs Mandrake

I have just installed Mandrake Linux 9.1 on my machine due to the problems with the Red Hat version of Linux.
My question is: "How is Mandrake distribution of Linux different from the official Red Hat one? Are there any 
advantages or disadvantages?"
