i'm considering buying a refurbished IBM laptop with the following 
description:

2656-K4U-08 TP R31-PIII-M 1.13GHz (512KB), 0 RAM, 0 HDD, 14.1", 802.11b 
(MPCI), 56K, 10/100 - Ref XAX

based on this limited info, can anyone tell me the odds of the 802.11b
device working under linux?  i tried to find the specific wireless 
chipset on IBM's site but had no luck.  thanks,
