Good question.  Since it doesn't have HD outputs, I can only
assume that if it did, it would be a LD recording, anyway.
I'll try it this weekend.

I was debating about upgrading to an HD-capable box, instead
of the DVR.  But I don't watch the channles that are available
in HD very often.  My wife already LOVES the DVR - so no
going back ;)
