[TriLUG] software-addressable power switches?

I just bought some X10 stuff (firecracker, transceiver, lamp module) and
it works great for this job - haven't done the scripting yet, but it
looks like I can easily turn off the modem, sleep for a minute, and turn
it back on.  Thanks for the advice.
