If you try to do normal computing, then yes, this is a restriction.
But, the Playstation is a unique system. While it may not have
much memory, its bandwidth is incredible. So, rather than load
everything into memory, things can be loaded into memory again
and again very quickly. You can do the same kinds of things,
you just need to think about different ways of doing them.
