[TriLUG] upgrade to rh 2.4.20-13.7 loses pcmcia

bah.  when i try to bring up 2.4.20-13.7 on my laptop, it appears
to be missing some aspect of pcmcia support.  it was downloaded
with up2date, and i've never h ad trouble with that before, but
it essentially renders the machine largely useless w/o the network
cards.

i've googled for this but i haven't found anything.  has anyone
here encountered anything like this?
