Pro: It runs like a bat out of hades.
Con: Disk I/O is weak if you're used to running it on top of 
Veritas/Solaris

There are a number of howto's out there, which you would be wise to 
read and understand /before/ you try and install it.

We're running Oracle on four IBM x345 servers, RAID 0+1, RHAS 2.1 and 
it is very fast indeed.  Funny thing is it runs even faster under Red 
Hat Linux 7.3 but the PHB's want to make sure that we're running on a 
"supported" combination of hardware & software, thus necessitating the 
use of RHAS.
