Once you setup qmail, it doesn't take hardly any maintenance at all.
I ran qmail for about 4 years without using either and it really
wasn't a major problem. The thing that finally made me switch
to postfix, though, was djb's crazy installation system that
forced *his* policy about where things should go on me. That,
and the fact that it was easier to add extensions to postfix
(while, realizing of course, that each extension has the potential
to make things less secure).
