My work just ordered a 16 node cluster from Penguin using the Altus 130's.
We also ordered 6 Tempest workstations and 2 Relion 240's, with one of
the Relions being used for basically what you want to use one for. I just
started
putting the cluster together yesterday and started working on the 240's
last week, so I can't vouch for the reliability yet. I've been very
pleased with the service so far and the product seems to be of good
quality. I recommend you contact Emil Hsieh, 415-358-3063 or
ehsieh at penguincomputing.com. They build their computers from name brand
parts (Tyan motherboards for example).
