Is this a good thing?  A company barely in the black starts tossing 
money into a hole for lawyers?  Not sure if I'd agree with this as 
'good business tactics'

Unless MS is to SCO as IBM is to RedHat (saw that joke on Slashdot 
comments, just had to share)
