Perhaps I should have explicitly stated that resources are not an 
obstacle in this instance.  I am not in search of free or low-cost 
hosting solutions, as we have plenty of machines and bandwidth to 
expend on a miniature scale OSS project.

What I had hoped to begin was a dialogue surrounding the mechanisms and 
aspects of running a successful OSS project (of any size, audience, or 
merit).  Particularly interesting would be voices that have 
participated in an OSS project and/or those who have closely followed 
two or three in their development.

I appreciate the cost-saving suggestions, and especially the ESR link 
from Jim Ray (*very* helpful!).  And thanks to Magnus for reminding me 
of our Ace in the Hole.  I will definitely bend the ear of Don R. next 
time I see him!
