On USB Devices: http://www.linux-usb.org/USB-guide/book1.html
On Mass Storage Devices: http://www2.one-eyed-alien.net/~mdharm/linux-usb/
The Sandisk Mini version was not available when I purchased a Cruzer
roughly a year ago. The Cruzer was not recognized as a USB device by
either of the UHCI device drivers.
The Mini version is advertised on Sandisk's site as not requiring any
drivers. The older Cruzer does not have this claim. Looks like they
decided to make a conforming product.
I wrote a strong complaint to Sandisk after encountering this problem.
Maybe it did some good. ;-)
Cheers,
Scott C.
