Dear Webmaster for Ataclick.com,

Your site:
  http://beta.ataclick.com/eligibility.htm

erroneously warns that you must have IE5.5 or better (after you click on
the "Yes, I meet the requirements" button).

Well, I'm running Mozilla version 1.2 which is a darn site better than
IE 5.5. As I couldn't argue this point very effectively with my monitor
screen, I simply popped up a second browser - Konqueror 3.1 (also much
"better" than IE5.5).

ASIDE: Konqueror has a feature you can toggle that allows it to fool any
website into thinking it *is* Internet Explorer 5.5.

Well that worked just fine (as I'm sure Mozilla would have - had you
allowed it a chance to continue).

My point here, is that you are three to four years behind the times.
Wake up and smell the Open Source Revolution! There are plenty of
browsers in the world that do everything IE5.5 does and more. In fact
most of them are far and away superior to any current version of
Internet Explorer (I know that's a somewhat subjective statement, but
I'm willing to back it up with some head-to-head comparison of
capabilities and features).

Pull your head out of the "Microsoft Uber Alles" dirt and take in a
glimpse of sunshine... remove this offensive road-block to using other
browsers than IE from your websites.

By The Way: I have nothing against using a statement like, "This site
works best when viewed with IE5.5 or better." As I said, I'm using
something better!

Sincerely yours,

Jon Carnes
