Nah---that'd net him a different error when he tried to make the
method call.

The script is complaining about $cookie not being defined (and it's
used twice in the line, hence the two warnings).

Strictly speaking, those are not errors, they're just warnings.
Whether the lack of a cookie represents a situation where the script
can't function, I can't say.
