and I have a Lexmark, Xerox and Canon printer, all attached to hp jet 
direct boxes. Its a small external network box that allows you to print 
to a network port, and then routes that to the parallel port.

Other companies make them, they aren't that expensive, and it can make 
life much easier if you don't want to leave a computer on just so 
everyone can share a printer. It doesn't do any queueing, but it can 
make life easier.
