I was on vacation so I am a bit late with this one. But, I thought I
would add my 2 cents. There are some great Games that run natively on
Linux. Here are just a few that I play:

1. Neverwinter Nights -
http://nwn.bioware.com/downloads/linuxclient.html
2. Savage: The Battle for Newerth - http://www.s2games.com/savage/
3. Bzflag - http://www.bzflag.org/
4. with WineX from transgaming (yes, it costs money. but with a little
work you can find it to test it out. They also make available winex
through CVS that is not supported by them) I play Warcraft III, Diablo
II flawlessly
5. Check out:

Also, look for a lot of companies to start providing Linux clients for
commercial games. Good commercial games on Linux are fast becoming a
reality. We have to support these companies in a language they
understand, money. If we buy these games, they will make more. Have fun!
