Take a look at the Orinoco access points as well. D-Link, Linksys and
the like are fine and work in most cases without a problem but they
just aren't built, designed, engineered, programmed, etc as the Orinoco
access points. I have been running an AP-500 in my house for what
seems like forever with no problems to speak of. They cost more money
but, in my opinion, it's money well spent.
If you're feeling really geeky you can build your own AP (another thing
on my list of things to do).
