If they are twins then either Ferris skipped a grade (not inconceivable
given his obvious talents) or she failed a grade.  She's treated in the
movie as though she has one more year of High School and the whole point
of the movie is Ferris having a last big day before heading off to
college.

We actually watched/analyzed this movie in one of my college classes
(and I wrote a term paper on it)... Talk about an easy A.  :-)
