[TriLUG] Knoppix 3.3 HELP PLEASE

I think etherconf is included with knoppix - so try:
dpkg-reconfigure -a etherconf

I've had the same problem, if I'm going to do a harddrive 
install it really wants a network connection at boot if I want one later.
