they might be scattered in several places in ~/.kde.  try changing into 
that directory and running a 'find . -name kmail*'  that should give 
you a hint where to find them.  i use kmail myself and found stuff in 
both .kde/share/apps/kmail and .kde/share/config/kmailrc.
