Speaking of which, I've got a question about mod_vhost_alias and
Apache 2.0. In Apache 1.x, I used mod_vhost_alias to setup a directory
so that subdirectories would be interpreted as hostnames
(i.e. /var/www/wtl would refer to http://wtl.wayfarer.org/ and
/var/www/jkl would refer to http://jkl.wayfarer.org/). That worked
well, but for some of my hostnames I discovered that things
worked better if I could set them up to use Apache's suexec
functionality (that runs cgi scripts as a particular user).
To do this, for those hostnames I needed to use suexec with
I set up a virtual host for them. This worked well in Apache
1.x (combining name based virtual hosts and mod_vhost_alias).
Unfortunately, in Apache 2.0 it doesn't work at all. I can either
use name based hosts or mod_vhost_alias, but not both. They
refuse to work with each other. Now, this wouldn't be such a
big deal since what I really want is to setup suexec on certain
directories, but suexec doesn't work on a directory basis. It
only works with hosts or with user directories. So, any suggestions
about that would be appreciated.

Oh, and as far as topics go, webdav would be very cool. Perhaps
even a talk about combining it with subversion (or that could be
a follow on talk by someone else).

Another good topic would be a talk on Apache 2.0. I don't think
many people yet know much about apache 2.0, so a talk on it might
help some people move that direction. :-)

Cheers,
Tanner
