[TriLUG] RH 7.3 upgrade

I remember hearing some bad, bad things about the possibility of attempting
a RH 7.3/7.2 to FC1 upgrade.  These are production boxes, so blowing away
the system and starting from scratch and then restoring data is not the best
option.  Stepped upgrades (e.g. 7.3 -> 8 -> 9 -> FC), however time
consuming, are a less desirable option given the collective downtime.  Any
care to offer their thoughts,  suggestions, or other info?
