Hello:

I am an Account Executive at New Horizons Computer Learning Center of Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill and am working on an opportunity which requires an experienced Linux (Red Hat) instructor. Here is a brief summary of the oppty. Can you recommend a TRILUG member that works as an independent Linux instructor who may be interested in this engagement? If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Please have candidates contact me directly via email - thanks!

My client has a enterprise level call-processing solution focused on IP communications. This product is a software-based solution that currently runs on Windows 2000 Server. They have decided to port the solution to Linux (variant of Red Hat) and will need to train their help desk staff on how to support the Linux-based version of this software solution. The oppty would require the instructor to commit for a minimum 45-60 day commitment as the customer would want to have you basically become part of the extended team and work with them to develop the training curriculum and then deliver it to at least 3 training sites around the world (RTP, Australia, Europe). In terms of timeframes I would see this engagement beginning possibly late Mar/early Apr.

Best Regards,

Ken Ochi
