[TriLUG] dx portable (ebooks)

Has anyone used dx portable, or any other software for buying and reading
"ebooks" (e.g., http://www.ebookstore.tandf.co.uk/html/ebookreader.asp)?
Specifically, any experiences, good or bad, with this idea under
non-RedHat linux systems?
