First of all, since dev at trilug.org is gone, this is a somewhat
development oriented list now! :-)

Secondly, why the flamesuit? Your statement is fairly accurate,
IMHO.  Some people mistakenly think agile methodologies are just
"hack like mad," granted. I don't agree with that assesment
personally. Describing them as in between sounds pretty fair to me.

Where I usually need the flamesuit is when RUP comes up.  I think
RUP can be implemented as agile, while a lot of people seem to
believe RUP is the anti-thesis of agile, for some reason.  Probably
because Rational Corp. is so heavily associated with modeling tools
/ UML, etc., and everybody assumes a process from Rational must be
extremely formal and heavyweight, which is not necessarily the case.
