[TriLUG] Savage video game for linux

Ok so I went and bought this video game.  Savage for linux.  They have a 
large update which is not available online so you have to download it manually.  The file is 
tar gz file which I have no problem unzipping.  But how do I apply the 
patch or make the software see the patch.  There is no rtfm on their site 
or with the patch.

Mandrake 10 is sweet once you figure out how to get the ati drivers 
and urpmi working.
